Tornado Baseball drops opener

NORWICH – The Norwich varsity baseball team came out swinging against Susquehanna Valley, and found themselves up late in the game, only to suffer a late game collapse to lose to the Sabers 6-2.

We did some good things. In the second inning, Paden Burlison hit a really good shot hitting a double. Then he scored at the next at bat when Nick Murphy hit an RBI single. It was a beautiful shot out to left center,” said Norwich head coach Rich Turnbull.

The third inning saw Jake Walsh and John Predmore of Norwich earn two hits, only to be followed by two strike outs.
