Nothing like keeping promises, Patrollers! Finally, the wait is over. We've been promising it for a few weeks and now it's here. The Toddster's Take for Batman Vs Superman. Take a look and see what you think. A few DVDS for us with an old favorite too thrown for good measure as well. Let's see!.

New on DVD
Star Wars VII-The Force Awakens- It's time for a new adventure with some familiar faces and some new ones. After the events of "Return of the Jedi," the rebellion had bitten Darth Vader and the Galactic Empire. Thirty years later, a new faction called "The First Order" has risen from the ashes of the old Empire and are now looking for Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill). Headed by Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), They're after a droid called "BB-8 that contains information that might be able to find Luke. BB-8 finds it's way into the hands of Rey (Daisy Ridley) who's trying to make a living. She meets up with Finn (John Boyega) who has had his fill of fighting and now just wants to leave it all behind. Now being chased by Ren, Finn and Rey meet Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Chewbacca. Han knows he has to take them to the leader of the Resistance that's led by Leia (Carrie Fisher). Can they deliver the droid before it's too late? Ridley and Boyega have started working on "Star Wars 8" set for release in 2018.

Exposed- No one said that doing the right thing was the easiest thing in the World. Especially when you're a cop. Detective Galban (Keanu Reeves) was a no nonsense cop who always got his man but now his job is about to get a lot harder. Galban come to find out that after the death of his partner, he may have been on the take. His wife doesn't want Galban to blow the whistle on him either. He's torn between getting justice for his partner and bringing to justice the people who might have had something to do with it. What will he do next? Reeves is currently wrapping up filming on "John Wick: Chapter 2" set for release in theaters next year.

Also on DVD
Highlander- Celebrating its' 30th Anniversary, there is always that ultimate question of what would it be like to live forever? Just ask Connor Mccleod (Christopher Lambert). What no one knows about Connor is he's had the chance to live a little over 500 years. For some unknown reason, Connor and a few others have had the chance to live for many years. There's is a catch. The only way they can be killed if you slice off their heads. This has been a battle that's been going on for thousands of years. It seems the most powerful of the immortals who's name is Kurgan (Clancy Brown) has been after Connor for a long time. Being big isn't exactly the most important thing. Connor knows he has a battle ahead of him and to make matter even worse, Kurgan kidnaps his girlfriend Brenda (Roxanne Hart). Can Connor save her and keep his head? Lambert also has other Highlander adventures including "Highlander 2,""Highlander: The Final Dimension," and "Highlander: Endgame" with Adrian Paul from the Highlander TV show all available on DVD now.

Now in Theaters
Batman v Superman-Dawn of Justice- It's never been said that heroes get along or have to agree on everything. Two years ago, Superman (Henry Cavill) revealed his existence to the World and had to battle General Zod (Micheal Shannon) to save himself and the people of the Earth. The fight didn't come without great cost because it destroyed much of Metropolis. Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) was witness to this and his building was demolished along with a lot of his employees losing their lives. Wayne holds Superman responsible for this and needs to find a way to stop him once and for all. No one knows that Wayne is also the crimefighter Batman and has his own idea of how criminals should be punished. Clark Kent (AKA Superman) feels Batman needs to be stopped and needs to answer for what he's done. They both feel they're right. This is leading up to one of the biggest fights of all time. Lois Lane (Amy Adams) feels there's someone else at work that might be pushing both heroes to do this. Will they destroy each other or find a way to work together?

The Toddster's Take- I was looking forward to seeing this movie for 2 years and I walked out of the theater feeling a bit disappointed. I love both heroes a lot and I have liked reading their adventures in comic books over the years. When I heard they were going to be doing a live action movie of this, I was really excited. All of the actors were great and the special effects as well. Affleck as Batman really delivered and Cavill came back as the Man of Steel. The story was the thing that disappointed me the most. It tended to concentrate on Batman a bit too much and didn't give other characters more screen time. This movie paves the way for Justice League which I'm looking forward to. The DVD has already been set for July 16. Go check it out but be warned.

Spring is just getting going and Summer Movie Season is just around the corner. More DVDS are set for next week. The Toddster will be back.
