NEW BERLIN – On April 6, at about 10 p.m., New York State Police at Norwich arrested Brent T. McDaniel, 27, of Earlville.

McDaniel was arrested and charged with assault in the third degree, a misdemeanor.

The arrest occurred after the NYS Troopers were advised of a fight that occurred at a home on North Main Street in the Town of New Berlin. An investigation determined that McDaniel allegedly had punched another man several times causing an injury to the victim’s face. The victim was treated by an ambulance and then released.
