Norwich Theater Company calls auditions for upcoming production

NORWICH – The Norwich Theater Company, Inc. is pleased to announce that auditions for their production of “Singing in the Rain” will be held on Sunday April 17 at 1 p.m. at the Martin W. Kappel Theater at the Chenango Arts Council, 27 W. Main Street, Norwich.
Everyone is asked to be there promptly at 1 p.m. and should be prepared with a short musical piece and be prepared to learn a short dance routine. There are some parts that do not require singing or dancing. Auditioners must be of school age or older. There are several crowd scenes for younger or older actors. "Singing in the Rain" will be performed on August 19, 20, and 21, 2016 at the Martin W. Kappel Theater of the Chenango Arts Council in Norwich. This performance will cap the Norwich Theater Company's 2015-2016 season, which started with November's "Miracle on 34th Street" and March's "Over The River and Through The Woods." The Company will also be offering a free performance of "South Pacific in Concert" in East Park, Norwich on May 7 at 2 p.m.
