NORWICH – At its April meeting, UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital’s Auxiliary board members presented a donation of $31,200 to Dr. Drake Lamen, the hospital’s president and chief executive officer.

The donation will help to support the hospital’s patient services, by providing several new beds in the maternity, two infant vision testers, as well as a colposcope and an NST machine in the Women’s Health Center.

Dr. Lamen thanked the Auxiliary and remarked, “UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital is so fortunate to have the support our auxiliary provides. The personal resources they contribute in creativity, advocacy and fundraising are outstanding and our hospital administration and staff members appreciate all that they do for us. Their efforts help us to achieve our goal to provide community members with exceptional, patient-centered care.”
