SYRACUSE – Jon Heggie, of Oxford has now increased his wins column, and remains undefeated in amateur boxing.

Heggie who is now 7-0 in the ring, after defeating a previously undefeated boxer just recently in April of 2016. Heggie defeated Victor Hester of the Rochester St. Martin's gym. Hester was 10-0 entering the showdown, while Heggie was 6-0.

Heggie, a 16-year old multi-sport athlete at Oxford Academy high school has elected to continue to train, and win nonetheless, in the ring while also participating full time on the Oxford varsity baseball team.
