Lady Marauders suffer another loss

CANASTOTA – The Sherburne-Earlville varsity softball team traveled to Canastota last Friday, May 13.

In a game where the SE girls committed little to no errors – two errors – and managed a monster 10-hits on the evening, they would ultimately only see one inning of scoring and suffer a loss at 13-4.

Canastota would jump out to an early 4-0 lead over SE in the first inning, before electing to tack on two more runs in the second and another in the third.

Already down 7-0, The Lady Marauders finally saw their hard work at the plate pay off when they strung together a four run inning of their own, in the fifth inning.

It was Rhilea Chabot of Canastota who was on the mound for the full seven innings, earning four strikeouts, and one hit by pitch.
