NORWICH – The Bullthistle Hiking Club is calling on hiking enthusiasts to join them in a celebration of “National Trails Day.”

The club is hosting two hikes in recognition of the day. The first is just under two miles and is suitable for families and those who desire a woodland hike at a relaxed pace.

The second hike is five-plus miles and will pass by a scenic pond.

The Bullthistle Hiking Club has games planned for both hikes to play along the way. Each hike will take a break at the Perkins Pond lean-to, where there will be a bonfire, food and hiker-friendly prizes.
