NORWICH – The pair accused of the largest meth bust in the City of Norwich to date were arraigned in the Chenango County Court when it met for a morning session last Friday, June 10.

Patrick S. Davenport Jr., 25. of Oxford and Alexis D. Braam-Armondi, 24, of Norwich, were both arraigned on three felony charges, and one misdemeanor count. Those four charges were: Unlawful Manufacturing of Methamphetamine, a class ‘D’ Felony; Criminal Possession of Precursors of Methamphetamine, a class ‘E' Felony; Unlawful Disposal of Meth Laboratory Material, a class ‘E’ Felony and Criminal Trespass in the second degree, a class ‘A’ Misdemeanor.

It is alleged that on Feb. 10, 2016, Davenport and Braam-Armondi were unlawfully manufacturing methamphetamine at a residence located on Prospect St., in the City of Norwich. The residence was reportedly supposed to be vacant. Following a trespass complaint received by the Norwich Police Department at approximately 2:02 p.m. that day, the property manager of the residence confronted the pair, who allegedly ran off. They were apprehended by the NPD within “a couple of minutes.”
