UV hands Edmeston first loss
EDMESTON – The previously undefeated Pony League team from Edmeston hosted Unadilla Valley late last week, a game in which they would see their first mark in the loss column fall their way.
Edmeston as they lost to UV 10-9 in extra innings.
The game which saw three lead changes, saw two very evenly matched teams battle to a crowd thrilling tie at 9-9 after seven innings.
UV would claim the ultimate win over Edmeston with a late run in the eight inning.
The Statistics would tell a different story than the scoreboard, as Edmeston would rack up an impressive 15-hit game coupled with only three errors.
While UV would suffer through four errors on their part while only recording eight hits on the night.
