Man accused of beating girlfriend in front of child
NORWICH – Bashiem R. Jenkins, 21, of Norwich, was arrested on July 7, for endangering the welfare of a child.
Deputy J. Davy, of the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office, responded to a Town of Norwich residence for a report of a domestic dispute. After investigation, it was found that Jenkins was in a physical altercation with his girlfriend while his two-year-old child witnessed the incident.
Jenkins was remanded to the Chenango County Correctional Facility on $500 cash bail.
He is set to appear in court at a later date.
