Norwich Police Officer Thomas Miller took his K-9 companion Nitro to meet with the Kid's Club at the YMCA in Norwich on Tuesday, July 19.
“Kid's Club is exploring the community this week, and yesterday we focused on Police Officers,” said Kid's Club Director Gabby Testani. “Officer Miller came to our classroom with Nitro and allowed the children to meet the dog. He showed the children the police car and answered all questions they had regarding his job and the duties of a police dog.”
“It was great to get to meet with the children and explain to them what Nitro and I do,” said Miller. “They were all very interested and participated well.”
