First ever ‘Farm to Fork’ to hit Chenango County Fair

NORWICH – With a two-fold purpose of promoting the tastes of Chenango while also educating the public about their food sources, the Chenango County Agriculture Development Council found the perfect platform for its new “Farm to Fork” program at the Chenango County Fair.

“Farm to Fork: A Taste of Chenango” will feature fresh produce and product displays, tastings, and two creation tasting stations for fair-goers to test local foods at the 169th Chenango County Fair.

The fair is set to kick-off Tuesday. Farm to Fork will run from noon to 9 p.m. inside Exhibition Hall located at the west end of the fairgrounds. And because Tuesday is free admission day at the fair, promoters are hoping for a good turnout.
