NORWICH - Do you have the X Factor? If so, the Chenango County Fair Talent Showcase is the place for you.

The fair will hold its annual talent competition at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 13. Performers of all ages are welcome to compete for prizes in two age groups. The Mini contest consists of performers ages 12 and under, while the Talent Hunt contest consists of performers ages 13 and up. There is no age limit to compete in the Talent Hunt contest.

There will be monetary prizes for first, second, and third place in each of the following categories: vocal, instrumental, variety, and dance, as well as “Best of Show.”

Chenango County Fair monetary prizes are as follows for each category: first place, $30; second place, $25; third place, $15; and best of show, $35.
