SOUTH OTSELIC – The Otselic Valley Central School District is pleased to announce free breakfast and lunch to all enrolled students every day that school’s in session this year.

OV is eligible for the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), which means families will no longer need to fill out free or reduced price breakfast and lunch applications in order to receive free or reduced price meals.

CEP is a provision from the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010, which is a reauthorization of the Child Nutrition Act of 1966. The Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010 grants school districts and local education agencies that have high poverty rates with federal reimbursement to provide their students with free breakfast and lunch.
