Chenango United Way RFP Process Opens Soon
NORWICH – The Chenango United Way will be opening its 2017 competitive funding process by posting its Request for Proposal (RFP) process on its website as of August 31, 2016. The web address is www.chenangouw.org and interested applicants will find RFP instructions, an RFP narrative and supplemental attachments under the RFP Process tab.
All potential funding applicants are required to attend one of the two group technical assistance sessions being held Friday, September 9, 2016 at 9:00am or Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 1 p.m. Both sessions will be held in the Community Room at Morrisville State College, Norwich Campus. The sessions will be used to review the newly revised 2017 RFP process and discuss scoring and review feedback from the perspectives of actual Review Panel volunteers who serve on the committees reviewing proposals.
This year, no one-on-one technical assistance will be made available to applicants after the group technical assistance sessions have occurred.
Completed proposals will be due to the Chenango United Way office by November 1, 2016. Two complete hard copies of the proposal must be submitted by this deadline in order to be considered for 2017 funding. Funding decisions will be made in late January 2017 after the fall 2016 Chenango United Way fundraising campaign has been completed. Funding decisions will be announced on February 1, 2017.
For more information, you may contact the Chenango United Way office at 607-334-8815.
