BeauSoleil avec Michael Doucet set to wrap up NBT Summer Concert Series tonight

Though the 24th Chenango Blues Fest is in the books, the music will go on for one last summer series show with BeauSoleil avec Michael Doucet bringing their Cajun tunes to East Park in Norwich tonight at 7 p.m.
Since its inception in 1975, BeauSoleil has blended their rich Cajun Louisiana traditions with elements of zydeco, New Orleans jazz, Tex-Mex, country, and blues to create a unique style that captivates audiences from around the world.
BeauSoleil is one of only a few bands performing traditional Louisiana music to have won a Grammy award as they were recognized in 1997 for Best Traditional Folk Album, and again in 2008 for Best Cajun Music Album.
It’s said you won’t want to miss the conclusive music in the park act BeauSoleil avec Michael Doucet performing tonight as the Chenango Blues Association wraps up another successful summer of bringing stellar sounds to downtown Norwich.
