Classmates enjoy 60th class reunion

On July 14, 2016 the New Berlin Central School Class of 1956 celebrated its 60th year reunion at The Old Mill Restaurant in Mt. Upton. In attendance were 22 (that’s 78%) of the surviving classmates. Only 7 of its members have died since graduation.

Members in the picture are: Seated, Nancy Whitacre Sherwood, Elizabeth (Betty) Gilmour Gibson, Helen Burski Schall, Patricia Haynes Brownell, Thelma Cronk Bice, and Gloria Button Cole; 2nd row, William (Bill) Neuland, Donna Boice Davenport, Nancy Bice Button, Roberta Idabelle Button Huyck, Janet Norton Masterson, Elizabeth (Liz) Lloyd Clement, and Diane Ackerman Spicer; 3rd row, Glenn Sanford, Roger Gregory, Russell (Russ) Lowe, Harold (Smitty) Smith, Edith (Edie) Burr Smith, Warren Prentice and Richard (Dick) Horton; absent from the photo were attendees Sharon Camp Grabau and Jack Reed; deceased but honored members were Corinne Runion Shamey (1989), Philip Chase (2003), Rupert Davis (2006), Angelo Franco (2012), Gail Haywood Caple Lebenick (2013), Harry Dunham (12/25/15), and Patricia Burke Gifford (7/1/16).
