Entertainers Jo Lombardi and Barb Kraft to perform at Oxford Farmers’ Market
OXFORD – This week, the Oxford Farmers’ Market welcomes guitarist Jo Lombardi and singer Barbara Kraft to the bandstand in Lafayette Park this Saturday, Sept. 10, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Jo has been playing guitar since the late 1950’s, and Barbara has sung and played keyboard for many years. Together, they perform classics and vintage favorites ranging from Johnny Cash and Elvis to Perry Como. This program is free and open to the public.
Jo’s first performance in 1957 was for a high school assembly program. Jo and Barbara entertain locally for community events. The Oxford Farmers’ Market is happy to have them join the community to perform during our extended market season on Lafayette Park.
This week on the park, you’ll find fresh beans from Solo-Rain Farm, tomatoes galore from Enough and a Little Bit More, many vendors still up to their ‘ears’ in varieties of sweet corn, pounds of gorgeous potatoes, and so very much more as the bounty of the season comes in strong!
Join the Oxford Farmers’ Market on the Park, where you may fill your pantry, and your heart with joy, while supporting local producers at the Oxford Farmers’ Market. Vendor offerings are made and grown by neighbors you can meet, hands you can shake. For more information, call 607-226-6383 or email freshfromyourneighbors@gmail.com.
