NORWICH – UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital will present a free diabetes information program in the hospital’s Basement Conference Room, 179 North Broad Street in Norwich, Wednesday, Sept. 21. Registration begins at 5 p.m. and presentations begin at 5:30 p.m. This annual event, on the hospital’s lower level, is open to diabetics and their families and will feature the latest information about diabetes.

The program features several local health care professionals providing a wide range of valuable information for diabetics and their families. Subjects will include an update on the latest news about diabetes; a diabetes-friendly food demonstration by Chenango Memorial Hospitals clinical nutrition department personnel, and Pamela Lyons, RN, CDE will speak to diabetic specific current events and information.
