Tornado girls fall to the sabers after producing little offense

NORWICH – The Norwich girls varsity soccer team would struggle through a Monday, Sept. 12, showdown with the Sabers of Susquehanna Valley, when they came to town only to win 6-0 over the Tornado.

Injuries would play a huge part in the shuffling of Norwich players early on in the game, something that would have the Tornado squad playing from behind in the contest.

At the half Norwich had surrendered a 4-0 lead to Susquehanna Valley, something they were obviously unable to overcome as they failed to manage any offensive shots on goal for the entire game. The no shots on goal was overcome with 21 shots on goal for Susquehanna Valley, with six corners.
