Bobcats win over the Warriors

SIDNEY – The Bobcats of Bainbridge-Guilford would enjoy a second half rallying win over the Sidney Warriors when they defeated them 2-1 on Friday, Sept. 9.
A halftime score of 1-1 saw the Bobcats and Warriors vying for the score that would lift their team to the win. However, it was Trevor Halaquist assisted by Ryan Porter, and Kyle Rideout who cae through for the Bobcats on the scoring end.
Playing goalkeeper for B-G was Xavier Cherniak with four saves and Sean Jones with two on the night, while their offense kept the Sidney keeper, Ryan Arnold, busy having to save ten.
B-G would enjoy double digits in the shots on goals with ten, while also having seven corner, while Sidney would have seven shots on goal with just two corners.
