Norwich soccer seeks to improve each game

NORWICH – The Norwich boys varsity soccer team enjoyed their best outing of the year – according to head coach Scottie Decker – when they hosted the Wildcats of Johnson City on Thursday, Sept. 15, ultimately losing 0-2.

A first half goal from the Wildcats would give them the early lead over Norwich, a 1-0 lead they would enjoy as they took that lead to the halftime break.

The second half, Norwich would again surrender a goal, moving the score to 2-0, as Justin Butler of JC, sent one in for the score. Both Wildcat goals were assisted by Kolbie Rowe.

“Exciting game for my boys who never quit,” said coach Decker.
