NORWICH – The Lutheran Church in Norwich will host an AARP Driver Safety Course next Wednesday and Thursday on October 5 – 6. Any person with a New York State drivers license who completes the course may earn a deduction on their automobile insurance for a three year period, or they can have points removed from their license. If a family owns more than one vehicle, a second person must take the course to qualify for a second vehicle discount.

Attendees must be present both days to qualify for the certificate earned upon completion of the course, and are asked to bring their NYS driver's license, AARP card (if able), and a pen.

The six hour course will run from 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. both days, and will cost $20.00 for AARP members with proof of membership, and $25.00 for non-members.
