OXFORD – The Blackhawks varsity volleyball team emerged the victors of a Friday night matchup, winning 3-0 and getting better each set.

Prior to the start of the first set on Friday, Oct. 14, Oxford recognized their five graduating seniors: Lacey Hathaway, Emily Redfield, Taylor Munson, Raigen Ehly, and Indaira Quintana.

With the help of the younger athletes on their squad, Oxford's seniors helped dominate each of the three matches played.

The first set saw Oxford emerge as the winners after a stellar 25-21 finish. However, following this first real challenge the lady Jacks of Deposit seemed to fall off some, losing 25-19, and 25-12.
