SHERBURNE - The Sherburne United Methodist Church have been busy preparing for their annual Holiday Bazaar, Bake Sale, Cookie Walk and Luncheon, which is being held on Saturday, October 22. The festivities will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Church on Chapel Street in Sherburne.

Among the offerings of handcrafted items at the Bazaar are Christmas ornaments, hanging kitchen towels, quilted pillows, painted glassware and knitted hats and scarves.

The bake sale offers many kinds of cookies, brown breads, and pies, while the luncheon, always a popular draw, consists of a choice from five varieties of homemade soup and chili, as well as a choice from several kinds of sandwiches or a twice baked potato. Homemade pie will be served for desert.
