‘On Heron Time’ presentation at Rogers
SHERBURNE – The Chenango Bird Club presents “On Heron Time” on Wednesday, November 9 at 7:00 p.m. at Rogers Environmental Education Center’s Bird Exhibit Cabin.
Their presenter, Rick Bunting, is an avid photographer and bird enthusiast whose photos have dazzled audiences many times in the past. "On Heron Time" includes Rick’s observations and photos at a heron rookery – a colony of heron nests - located in southern Chenango County. He has photographed and studied the Great Blue Herons there for several years.
Refreshments will be served following Rick’s presentation. Prior to the show, Chenango Bird Club members will have a short business meeting. Everyone is welcome to attend all or part of the evening’s activities.
The Chenango Bird Club presents monthly programs (except January, February, and March). Nature enthusiasts of all levels and interests are invited to all Chenango Bird Club programs, free of charge, at the Rogers Environmental Education Center Bird Exhibit Cabin located next to the visitor’s parking lot. Rogers Center is located one mile west of Sherburne Village on State Highway 80.
