Oxford proclaims ‘Recycle Month’

OXFORD— Village of Oxford Mayor, Terry M. Stark, officially proclaimed the onth of November as “Oxford Recycles Month.” The observance was designed to coincide with the state’s “NY Recycles” and the national “America Recycles Day” held every year on November 15. It also coincides with the thirteenth annual Recycled Holiday Ornament Contest which will soon kick off at the Oxford Academy Primary School with notices in Friday Folders. Mayor Stark calls upon the people of the Village of Oxford and its environs to observe November with appropriate programs and activities. All three of Oxford Academy school district’s art teachers will be spreading the message of recycling with their students during “Oxford Recycles Month.”
