NORWICH – Authorities are asking for the community's help in identifying a suspect who allegedly committed an armed robbery on early on Friday morning.

Per a press release issued by the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office, on Nov. 18 at approximately 3:35 a.m., members of the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office responded to an armed robbery at the Speedway Gas Station located at 6157 State Highway 12 in the Town of Norwich.

The suspect entered the store and displayed what authorities said appeared to be a handgun while demanding money from the Speedway employee.
