NORWICH – During County Court on Friday, Nov. 18, Damian Spicer of Norwich was brought in front of Judge Frank B. Revoir to be sentenced. Spicer violated his probation by failing to appear at his scheduled appointments since May of this year.

Spicer had been placed on a split sentence and probation after being charged with burglary in the third degree a class D felony, grand larceny in the fourth degree a class E felony and petit larceny a class A misdemeanor. In relation to these charges it was reported at Spicer broke into a local business and stole some computers and other items while being under the influence of alcohol.

Judge Revoir revoked Spicer’s split sentence and re-sentenced him to a definite one year incarceration at the Chenango County Correctional Facility for his violation of probation.
