Bainbridge man accused of violating court order

FENTON- On Tuesday, Nov. 29, the New York State Police at Binghamton arrested and charged Curtis C. Commesso, 32, of Bainbridge, with the misdemeanors of reckless endangerment in the second degree, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal contempt in the second degree.

Commesso was arrested following a incident that occurred after troopers were advised of a domestic dispute on Interstate 88 in the Town of Fenton. An investigation determined that on Sunday, Nov. 20 at approximately 4:30 p.m., while driving his vehicle Commesso drove recklessly by another vehicle that was occupied by his ex-girlfriend, their young child and others. Commesso also allegedly yelled at them and swerved in front of the victim’s vehicle causing the individuals in said vehicle to be afraid. This conduct violated an order of protection that had been placed against Commesso.

Commesso was arraigned in the Town of Fenton Court and was remanded to the Broome County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 property bond. Commesso next court date is pending at this time.
