Norwich Farmers Market holds grand opening indoors today
NORWICH – On Wednesday, Dec. 7, the Norwich Farmers Market will be moving indoors for the season and holding a grand opening event in the Howard Johnson ballroom where they will be located until Spring of 2017.
People are invited to register for a door prize anytime between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Dec. 7, for a chance to win a gift basket comprised of samples from all the vendors of the Norwich Farmers Market–a great value.
The Norwich Farmers Market is offering a variety of products available for your holiday shopping including: local produce, local USDA meats, herbal soaps and lotions, soy candles, Christmas wreaths and brooms, tie-dyed onesies and t-shirts, walking sticks, artisan jewelry, baked goods, microwaveable bowl holders, blankets, pot holders, kitchen towels, gift sets, tissue and tea bag holders, jams, potpourri jar lights, local honey, local maple products, free literature, information about local producers and businesses, as well as good conversation and live entertainment.
The Norwich Farmers Market accepts WIC fruit and vegetable checks, as well as SNAP/EBT year-round. Their vendors also accept credit cards.
