GREENE — It's the most wonderful time of the year—when spirits are high, wreathes are hung, and houses are decked out for the holiday season. With that in mind, organizers at the Greene Historical Society are once again offering its Holiday House Tour, back by popular demand.

This year, a total of six works of architectural art will be included in the walking tour for those interested in fine examples of 1800s era homes.

From 1–5 p.m., participants can take their fill of the sights and sounds of Christmas while walking though downtown Greene, and make their way through each of the six homes; each decorated in holiday trim. This is an inside/outside tour, and organizer Sharon Davis indicates that the participating homeowners will open up their entire homes for those on the tour.
