Holland-Patent hands S-E a loss

SHERBURNE – The Lady Marauders varsity volleyball team has struggled to find rhythm in their play thus far this season, as they most recently fell to league opponent Holland-Patent by a set score of 3-0.

“We are young and struggling to find our identity,” said Sherburne-Earlville head coach Ed Holmquist. “The girls work hard and give good effort.”

The shutout over Sherburne-Earlville came by scores of 25-10, and 25-13, in the first two sets. Down 2-0, and faced with an elimination set the Lady marauders battled to their best outing of the night – although losing – they managed to score 15, losing 25-15 for the final set.
