• 145 pounds: Logan Kennedy of Greene – a sophomore – emerged from the tournament with a fourth palace finish, going 2-2 on the day. Kennedy earned a quarterfinals win over Chuck Constable of Sidney (pin :36), before falling in the semifinals to top-seeded Trenton Gloeckler of Unatego (pin 2:51). Following his pattern of wins and losses Kennedy picked up an additional mark in each with an early win in the wrestle-backs over Kyle Gombas of Groton (310 dec.), before succumbing to another loss by pin, this time to Jacob Zimmer of Odessa Montour (pin 1:54).
• 160 pounds: Greene was hoping for a second champion on the day in freshman Noah Kennedy – as the second-seeded Trojan had his sights set on the finals. Kennedy would reach the finals but would ultimately fall short, losing by pin to Jerimiah Lynch of Odessa Montour at 2:50. Kennedy finished the day going 2-1, with wins coming over Wyatt Kiff of Sidney (pin :14), and a semifinals win over Nate Williams of Moravia (10-0 maj. dec.).
• 195 pounds: Five wrestlers in the weight class, two from Chenango County – Oxford junior Dakota Friedel, and Greene junior Ty Nolan. With five spots up for grabs, and all ensured a spot on the podium it was just a mater of figuring out where the 195 pounders would stand. Nolan and Friedel met each other in the semifinals – both received byes to the matchup – to which Friedel made short work of Nolan earning the pin at :47. Friedel advanced to the championship to face top-seeded, Matt Gombas of Groton – falling short of another championship for the Blackhawks when he was caught in a loss by pin at 2:23. Nolan fell to the wrestle-backs, where a second defeat at the hands of Eli Youngs of Unatego awaited. Youngs stuck Nolan at 1:52 to advance and end Nolans day on the mats.
• 220 pounds: Another depleted bracket – only five wrestlers – Oxford's Jon Walker looked to make some moves at the weight, but would fall to an 0-2 record for a fifth place finish. Walker suffered his first loss to Caleb Stewart of Marathon, as Stewart battled down Walker to an eventual pin at 5:35. In the wrestle-backs, Walker faced off against Sidney's Justin Santiago, where he managed a much better mach result – but would once again come up short with a loss to Santiago at 4-2. Winning the weight was former Oxford wrestler Garyn Huntley (Unatego).
Notably, Oxford's Jade SanSourcie did wrestle at the 126 pound weight but was unable to place in the bracket.
