Bobcats best Blackhawks in MAC tournament

OXFORD – The Bainbridge-Guilford boy’s varsity basketball team travelled over the hill to neighboring Oxford last night, Feb. 14, and came away with a victory, on a final score of 50-37.
The Bobcats dominated from the start. After a close first quarter, they gained a slim three-point lead, on a score of 11-8. B-G used a strong second quarter, where they outscored their opponents 12-5, to extend their lead to 10 points at the break.
The Bobcat offense picked up right where they left off after the break, and their offense exploded for 18 points, while limiting the Blackhawks to just five. While they were outscored 19-9 in the final quarter, B-G was still able to come away with the comfortable win by a 13-point margin.
