The Bobcats did in fact play a solid first period where they managed an 11-5 lead after the first eight minutes. The Trojans would find a spark on their offense in the second period – Greene's Erickson snagged seven of his eight points to help the visitors to 17-9 second period, subsequently taking the halftime score to 22-20 in favor of Greene.

Defending their home court, and ensuring momentum going into sectional play – the B-G boys went back to the drawing board at the half. With a new-found vigor to the team, the Bobcats returned to grab a 12 point third period before attacking the net in the fourth for a 23 point end to the game – a pace the Trojans couldn’t match, only scoring 19 in the second half.

Leading the team in scoring for the home win, was B-G's Trevor Halaquist who snagged 16 points, while teammate Sean Jones pitched in 14 points of his own. On the Greene side, the Trojans were led by Erickson and Smith who each grabbed seven a piece in the loss.
