Five arrested following ‘no knock’ on Eaton Ave; one held without bail

NORWICH – Five individuals were arrested Friday following the execution of a ‘no knock’ warrant on Eaton Avenue where police say several ‘one-pot’ meth containers were recovered. 

• 23-year-old Bradley Bishop, 40 Eaton Avenue, downstairs apartment, was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class B felony; unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine in the third degree, a class D felony; and criminal nuisance in the first degree, a class E felony. 

• Nathan A. Diamond, 37, and Michael D. Hackett, 42, both residing at the above address as Bishop, were charged with unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine in the third degree, a class D felony, and criminal nuisance in the first degree, a class E felony.

• 45-year-old Heather P. Angelino, homeless, and 40-year-old Neil P. Graef of 94 East Main Street, Norwich, were charged with the class B misdemeanor of loitering in the first degree. 

The New York State Police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team’s assistance was requested by the Norwich Police Department due to the chemicals involved in the manufacturing of meth. 

It was reported that employees of the NPD and CCERT were on the scene for several hours collecting chemicals, containers, and evidence. 

The NPD was assisted by the Norwich Fire Department, City of Norwich Code Enforcement and Chenango County and Delaware County Sheriff’s Office K9 units.
