Bainbridge-Guilford defeats Delhi for 3-peat as MAC tournament champions

The Lady Bobcats of Bainbridge-Guilford pulled off an amazing feat this past Saturday, Feb. 18, repeating for their third straight MAC tournament championship by defeating the Delaware Academy lady Bulldogs by a score of 51-43. Seen above, the team celebrates at center court with longtime head coach Bob Conway – as the 2016-2017 squad now moves to 20-0 on the season. Conway has been coaching for 35 years and the '16-'17 season marks his 26th season coaching at Bainbridge-Guilford. Next up for the Bobcats they will be chasing a Section IV Class C sectional title – their first sectional game will be home at 7 p.m. on Feb. 24, against the winner of the Greene vs. Sidney matchup.
