Holy Family’s Annual Fish Fry to begin Friday

NORWICH – The Holy Family School PTO continues its tradition of celebrating the Lenten season with the start of its 34th year of the annual Fish Fry.
Every Friday beginning on March 3 through March 31, the PTO will host the Fish Fry in the Holy Family School cafeteria. The event is open to the community with take-out available from 4:30-7:00 p.m. and eat-in dining open from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
The menu features both fried and baked fish, mashed potatoes and potato wedges, garlic green beans, coleslaw, applesauce, New England clam chowder, fresh bread and homemade desserts.
Adult dinners for those over 12 can be purchased for $10. Seniors (age 65 and over) are $9. Children age 6-12 are $8 and children under 5 are free. Take-out is available for $10 by calling 337-2207. New this year is curbside pick-up from the Prospect St. entrance.
The Fish Fry is Holy Family PTO's largest annual fundraiser. The proceeds from the Fish Fry help to support field trips and athletic activities at the school, as well as expand and enhance the programs offered to the students.
Holy Family School is located at 17 Prospect Street in Norwich. Parking for the Fish Fry is accessible from Pleasant and Summit Streets. The cafeteria is handicap accessible. For more information, contact Holy Family School at 337-2207.
