Earlville Conservation Club announces Big Buck contest winners

EARLVILLE – The Earlville Conservation Club recently held its annual banquet and Big Buck contest on January 21, 2017 at the Earlville Legion.
After a delicious Chicken-n-biscuit dinner those present enjoyed the tales of John Henry Coleman’s successful first youth hunt, and Steve Bohnert’s adventures of traveling to Canada for a big buck hunt.
The Earlville Conservation Club would like to kindly thank our guest speakers: Steve Bohnert, John Henry and Henry's uncle – Andy Migonis for sharing their experiences, time and enthusiasm.
The club would also like to extend deep gratitude to Andy Migonis, Jim Rodman, Jim Dowd, and Paul Orth for their time, dedication and expertise in scoring the racks for this year's big buck contest.

2017 Big Buck contest-winning recipients:
• First-place: Ralph Barker- 8 pt., 116.5 score.
• Second-place: Jordan Burdick- 8 pt., 109.6 score.
• Third-place: Blaine Eaves- 9 pt., 109.2 score.
• Fourth-place: Adam Bohnert- 10 pt, 105.1 score.
• Fifth-place: Darwin Wilson- 8 pt., 104.4 score.
• Sixth-place: Mark McCracken- 10 pt., 103.2 score.
• Seventh-place: Ed Kohler- 8 pt., 101.7 score.
• Eighth-place: Ben Eaves-8 pt., 92 score.
