On Friday, March 10, CSX train engine 2782 dispatched from Binghamton on a trial-run mission to Utica to test the railroad tracks. The engine made a stop at Norwich City Hall as part of its excursion drawing a number of curious spectators who were surprised to see a train in Norwich for the first time in over 10 years.
