The Bullthisle offers spring dog hike on Saturday May 13
PHARSALIA– The Bullthisle Hiking Club will be hosting a dog hike on Saturday, May 13. Everyone is welcome to participate in the hike with their furry companion.
The Bullthisle Hiking Club will meet at 8:30 a.m. in the rear parking lot at Howard Johnson in Norwich.
The hike is approximated to be three miles in Pharsalia woods located on map 23. The hike will be easy to moderate and novice hikers are welcome with or without a dog.
If bringing a dog(s), they must be able to hike the three miles on a leash. Hikers are encouraged to bring dog snacks and water for your dog. The dog hike held last fall was a little over three miles and all dogs, small and tall, hiked without problems.
In addition to the dogs, please bring water and a snack for yourself as well. Hikers are instructed to wear appropriate footwear for hiking on trails, some uneven terrain, creek crossing and some road walk. The club will hike rain or shine, so plan accordingly.
If you would like more information or would like to meet closer to the hike location, contact Peg Fuller at 315-653-7345 or peg379@gmail.com.
