NORWICH – The Christian Neighborhood Center of Norwich, Inc., also known as 'The Place,' has announced it will once again sign a contract with the Chenango County Department of Social Services to continue its Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP).

The Place will receive $111,091 in funding to once again make the program possible and provide employment to at least 55 Chenango County youth.

The program – which is a product of New York State's Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA) – is slated to run this summer from July 10 through August 4.
