Benefit Saturday in memory of Steve Carpenter

MOUNT UPTON – A bike run-carnival-chicken barbecue benefit is set for this Saturday, June 17 in the Mount Upton Park to raise money for costs associated with Steve Carpenter's untimely passing.

In July 2016, Steve Carpenter and his girlfriend, Katelynn Coville, passed away following a motorcycle accident on County Road 10A in the Town of Preston.

Beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, a barbecue and carnival will commence in Mount Upton Park.

Those who wish to participate in the bike run fundraiser should check-in at 10 a.m., as kick-stands will go up at 11 a.m. Donations to participate in the bike run at $10 per rider, $5 per passenger.

Mount Upton Park is located off of state route 8 in the Town of Mount Upton.
