JOHNSON CITY – The Johnson City Police Department has issued a warning to the public as of Saturday, June 24 after responding to four heroin overdoses in a matter of 10 hours.

It's reported that three-of-the-four overdoses in question were fatal, leading police to believe it likely that there is a "bad batch" of heroin circulating the area.

In the wake of these overdoses, police are urging those who use heroin to exercise caution.

The Evening Sun reached out to Johnson City Police Department for comment, but did not hear back from the Administrative Sergeant by print time.
