Smithville accident hospitalizes two
SMITHVILLE – Emergency crews are investigating a serious crash that occurred in the Town of Smithville early Monday morning.
According to authorities, a heavy-duty dump truck carrying stone collided with a car at County Road 3A and Kind Road.
Two individuals were injured in the accident, one who was labeled in serious condition. Both were transported to Wilson Memorial Hospital in Binghamton for treatment.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident.
