Sheriffs say driver in hit-and-run turned himself in

NORTH NORWICH – The Chenango County Sheriff’s Office is saying that the man they sought in a hit-and-run investigation has turned himself in.

On Saturday, deputies asked the public’s help in identifying the driver involved in the personal injury hit-and-run accident that happened on County Road 32 in the Town of North Norwich.

Authorities say that a black Ford F-150 pickup, model year 1997-2003, struck two motorcyclists. At the time, the truck was towing an early 1990s model Ford Escort wagon which police used a photo of to get tips.
