One airlifted after accident in Oxford

OXFORD – One motorist was airlifted to Wilson Memorial Hospital in Johnson City on Thursday following a two-car accident in Oxford.

State Police are investigating the accident which occurred shortly before 5 p.m. on State Highway 12, south of County Road 3 in the Town of Oxford.

Two people were injured in the incident, both of whom are receiving treatment at Wilson Memorial.

State police are still examining the cause.

The accident was responded to by the Oxford Fire Department, assisted by the Greene Fire Department. The Chenango County Sheriff’s Department also assisted at the scene.
