Luca’s first half brace pushes the Bobcats past the Storm

NEW BERLIN – Opening day, brisk air – and what proved to be a solid game between two Chenango County teams.

Bainbridge-Guilford and Unadilla Valley squared off, with the Bobcats of B-G snagging a 2-0 win on Tuesday, August 29.

“B-G definitely came out hungry in the first half, they were aggressive and winning balls,” said Unadilla Valley Ryan Houck. “It took a while for us to find our footing, which occurred around midway into the second half.”

The savior of the game for the Bobcats was Parker Luca – who took a first half brace to his name, essentially winning the contest off his opportune play in the first MAC league game.
